It’s time for our annual Christmas Gift Appeal in aid of Leeds Children’s Charity!
Please help us put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas!
If anyone would like to support this event / make any donations these can be handed in at the donation box in the main reception of the building.
Please make sure all gifts are handed in by Friday 12th December so there is time for them to be allocated and delivered for Christmas!
Here is some information from the Charity:
Thank you so much for thinking of Leeds Children’s Charity to support this Christmas. Gift donations make a wonderful difference for the young people we work with and support!
All gifts donated are distributed across our partners (social services/partner schools and other community groups) to ensure as many children as possible and families in need this Christmas can receive some gifts and a little bit of extra help this year. Our partnered schools are those who serve the communities in Leeds that are in the highest indices of multiple deprivation. We also work with fabulous community and other charitable groups who work in the heart of some of the most deprived areas in Leeds, who deal with families on a day-to-day basis.
We need toys for all gender and ages from babies right through to teenagers (so the whole family can get something to open).
- Pyjama’s, slippers and snuggly clothing
- Toiletries and cosmetic treats for the slighter older ones!
- Crafts and art materials
- Games for family engagement
- Lego
- Dolls/ figures
- Car sets
- Play mats
- Cartoon figures and toys
- Trucks/dinosaurs
- Building blocks and construction
- Books
Unwrapped is preferable, as we can allocate specially to children’s likes, although it’s no problem if you’d like to wrap them – they will just need a label to say age and gender/ type of toy.
