Keeping active doesn’t necessarily mean you have to get in major workout, anything that gets you moving is a going to benefit your health! Now could be the perfect time for you to get all those little odd jobs done! Taking control of your own environment can help with anxiety and stress.

Ways to keep the little ones occupied
We understand that staying at home can be frustrating, a good way to get you and the little ones out of the slump is to establish a daily routine which you can all stick to.
Take some time out to sit down together in order to create a weekly timetable.
You could start the little ones day off with an exercise class (a great way to make the most out of their rise and shine energy). Joe Wicks has recently hosted a live virtual PE class! If that doesn’t suit, there are plenty more online classes to choose from.
Give them simple responsibilities to carry out each day that will give them a sense of purpose. You could plant a seed and they could be responsible for watering it, they could be the tidy monitor / in charge of ticking chores off on a check list or be in charge of feeding the pets.
Try to include a mixture of formal activities (English / Math / Handwriting / research projects) and equal time for free play. Pre-set up areas up for free time which could include baking / arts / crafts / puzzles / reading so they aren’t having to think about what to do.
Change up daily tasks, if you have a garden make a tick list so they are heading out with purpose. The list could include, mini beasts, types of plants and gardening tools. You could even do a scavenger hunt!
Weekends could be rewarded by doing family actives including bike rides / movie days and picnics in the garden.

Most importantly, please be mindful of the governments guidelines surrounding COVID-19. Keep in touch with friends & family and stay safe.
