Hi All,
Ground Works are calling to action residents, dwellers and Lovers of Leeds waterways to help clean up the river in Leeds city centre.
Your river needs your help to remove rubbish, debris and vegetation left behind by the boxing day floods.
We will be meeting at the end of the footbridge at River Aire, south of Whitehall Road from 9:30am- 3:30pm or for as long as you can spare.
Activities will include clearing rubbish, cleaning down trees, removing vegetation and supporting the canoes in the river. We advise wearing sensible shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting grubby. Equipment will be provided. Open to all ages.
